Increased Capital Expenditure to Boost Infrastructure
To address potential economic slowdown and ongoing conflicts, the Capital Expenditure Outlay for FY 2024-25 is being increased by 111% to Rs 40,000 crore. This increase will be primarily used for converting normal rail bogies into modern ones.
Budget Presentation on July 23
The Union Budget for 2024-25 will be presented to the Lok Sabha on July 23. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will unveil the details of the budget at 11:00 AM.
