Biography

Anthony Davis, nicknamed AD, was born on March 11, 1993. He is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Davis is a seven-time NBA All-Star, four-time All-NBA First Team selection, and the 2020 NBA champion.

Davis played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats, where he was named the Consensus National Player of the Year and the USBWA National Freshman of the Year in 2012. He was drafted first overall by the New Orleans Hornets in the 2012 NBA draft and traded to the Lakers in 2019.

Davis is known for his versatility on the court, able to play both inside and outside. He is a skilled scorer, rebounder, and shot-blocker.
